Here is a prototype Adams A1 Bb trumpet lacquer! This specific prototype was Gordon Vernick's personal horn before he moved on to another one so here's your chance to buy a player's horn with stories to tell! This Adams features a 5" .55 gauge one-piece yellow brass bell, .460" ML bore and a gorgeous (formerly) Bauerfeind 2-piece valve block. The valves work flawlessly with awesome compression! The leadpipe might look like it has some red rots but after we've put it through the cleaning process, we discover no rot inside the pipe. There are a couple dents removed that is still shown on the lacquer, including the bell, 3rd slide crook as well as first slide crook, but the rest of the trumpet is in excellent condition! This is your chance to get a real pro horn that's been used by a top class player! Comes with original Adams case.
Here's what Adams says about the A1:
"This trumpet is all-around trumpet with a particular nod towards the crossover player who demands an extremely versatile instrument. Developed in collaboration with US-based trumpeter Trent Austin the horn features a warm sound when played at a softer dynamic with good overall sound dispersion and colors. Once you push the instrument volume-wise the horn becomes more refined and energized."
