Here is a rare Conn 6A Victor "Late Model" cornet! This is an early production of the "Late Model", made in 1957 (S/N 759xxx). We believe it is original lacquer (about 90% left) and it is in quite decent shape. The valve compression is great for a horn from the late 50s! If versatility is what you're looking for, look no further! Being a long cornet, the tone and sound quality is super diverse - you can switch from playing mellow solo to a lead sound without any difficulty at all! The cornet features a .438" bore, an electroformed copper leadpipe and 5 1/8" yellow brass bell. The long cornet has very little trauma other than some dents removed from the bell and tuning slide. The leadpipe is in great shape! Comes with a period correct Conn case.
