Here is a early Conn Wonder Bb Cornet in great shape! S/N 262xx indicates this was from 1889, which was still made in the Worcester, Mass. factory! The cornet has had a restoration in the past finish in bright silver and the valves have been redone at some point so this plays incredibly well! There are some minor silver and gold loss but the majority of the plating is in fantastic condition! An aftermarket pinky ring was added on. The most ingenious design on these Wonders is the adjustable tuning slide with the two knobs on each side of the valve block. One can push the tuning slide either way with the left hand thumb and middle finger to adjust the intonation on specific notes. These are rarer and rarer to come by so don't miss your chance to get one! Plays in low pitch Bb. The cornet comes with Conn Model 18 cornet mouthpiece.
