This is a 1929 (S/N 100xxx) Holton Llewellyn Bb Trumpet in great shape! The trumpet was designed for and named after then principal of Chicago Symphony Edward Llewellyn. The Llewellyn features #00-1/2 (.459") bore and a reversed tuning slide which later inspires Ren Schilke's design of his own horns. The trumpet is in absolutely great shape with 99.9% silver still attached! You won't believe how nice the valve compression is even with the original valves! If you are looking for a great playing Bb without spending too much, this would be the trumpet!
