King 2000

Made circa 1979, this Bb trumpet is a King 2000 in gold plate, and it features a trigger 1st  valve slide and a medium-large bore (0.459" / 11.65 mm)! This horn in particular was made for commercial playing.

According to trumpet-history.com, King Musical Instruments intended the 2000 series to be their 2nd generation of professional trumpets--replacing the Super-20 and Silver Flair. They were only produced during 1979-1983 and were replaced by the Model 2055 Flair trumpets.

These instruments are fairly rare, and this one comes in excellent condition and with its original case!
