The King Liberty Trumpet is a historic and highly regarded instrument in the trumpet community, produced by the H.N. White Company. Its production spanned from the early 1920s to the 1930s, known for its distinctive design and exceptional craftsmanship. The King Liberty, or "Liberty #1", featured a 2-piece yellow brass bell, and in its Silvertone version, it boasted a sterling silver bell. It included a Bb-A quick change mechanism facilitated by an Esbach slide behind the tuning slide, stopped by a retaining ring on the lower leg, and a forward-leaning 2nd valve slide in the Besson tradition. This model was available in various finishes and bore sizes, making it a versatile choice for professionals of the time.
